Lately, Kubota has given us some updates on their maintenance schedules. One of the biggest changes is how close we need to watch our fuel systems. Kubota is saying to drain your water separator every day and drain your fuel tank every 50 hours. That’s a lot, but the fuel we all buy these days has a lot of water in it. Also, all these fuel systems are more and more sensitive.
Make sure you keep water out of your fuel. These fuel parts are expensive, so we don’t want you to have to replace them because they got rusty.
Capital Tractor can handle all the preventative maintenance in our service departments, or you can handle it yourself. If you ever need help knowing how to drain your fuel tank or what fuel treatment to use, just contact us.
We have experts in the shop who would love to explain to you exactly how to handle it. They’ll even give you some hints on how to do it faster and better.
